A flying Monkey

My wife dared me to put a picture of a flying monkey on my webpage even though it has nothing to do with my bio. Challenge Accepted!

About me

  • My interests lie in system integration and new technologies. I really enjoy being able to help integrate network elements together and being able to achieve a functional solution.
  • I developed the majority of my IP routing/switching knowledge from mobile backhaul design in a 3G network. I have since worked on 4G networks as well primarily in the network core with the Policy Server. I also participated in WiFi network solutions on the core gateway and policy side.
  • I have multiple certifications including CCNP, JNCIS, DevNet Associate, AWS Solution Architect Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator. I enjoy reading and understanding code, primarily Python although I haved worked extensively on bash scripting as well.

My Namesake

My grandfather named me after the Chinese Pine because of its evergreen foliage - considered by the Chinese as an emblem of longevity.

My Ideal Destination

Mountains symbolizes constancy and permanence. Attributes that I admire and wish to see in myself. And the Dolomites are some of the most majestic I have seen.

My Bucket List

Both the sky and water are blue, bringing balance and traquility. Fiji is a destination where I think one can find spiritual regeneration and creative transformation.
